ISQC1 | How do I resolve Error: Failed to launch server application when replacing the default logo?

I receive the following error when attempting to edit or replace the default logo with the Firm's Logo. How do I resolve Error: Failed to launch server application when replacing the default logo?

  Answer:

To resolve this error and replace the default logo with your Firm's logo use the following steps:

  1. Firstly Click on Ok, then close the Optimiser Confirmation Report
  2. Then open the Windows explorer and browse to the default logo location.
  3. This is usually found C:\Program Files (x86)\CaseWare\Library\ISQC1\CWInterface
  4. Rename the document titled FIRM with FIRMOLD
  5. Then paste the Firm’s logo in this location ensuring that the document is titled FIRM
Kindly Note: The logo must be saved in BMP format, this can be done using Microsoft Paint  by using:
File | Save As | Then select BMP picture
