CaseWare Working Papers | How do I log into a CaseWare Working Papers?

Published:  23/11/2016
How do I log into a CaseWare Working Papers file and what is the default username and password for a CaseWare Working Papers file?

  Answer:

All CaseWare Working Papers templates are security enabled. This means you need a username and password to be able to create a new file and base it on any one of the templates.

Once a file has been created and based on a template, it will adopt the security features of that template, meaning it will also require you to log in with a username and password. In this example we will use the default log in details as there is no protection setup on this file.

To log into a newly created file, you will need to use the following credentials:

Username: sup
Password: sup

Once you have logged into the file, you need to create users on the file that anyone working on the file will use to log in. This is to make the file more secure and also enables you to see which user accessed the file and when.

Users can be added in Tools | Protection | Protection Setup.
