SecWare | How to resolve ERROR [42000] [Microsoft ODBC SQL Server Driver]?

I have captured an entity on SecWare with a special character in the client code field and as a result I am encountering the error message below. How do I resolve it?
Answer:
SecWare does not allow for special characters in the client code field.
Delete all special characters and capture alpha numeric characters.
