When capturing figures on the Summary Income Tax Return for Individuals
in TaxWare, I receive the following error message, how do I resolve this?
Please note the following resolution should only be explored if changing the Regional Settings and Compatibility mode for TaxWare fails.
- Log into the problematic workstation as the domain Administrator
- Navigate to the following path C:\Program Files (x86)\TaxWare 2009
- Locate a file in the location stated above ExprPrsr.dll
- Right click on the file and select Properties | Security
- Add the following user groups by clicking Edit | Add and then typing the names accordingly.
- Authenticated Users
- Domain Users
- Domain Admins
- Assign Full Control for each of the above groups by ticking the Full Control checkbox
- Then click Apply to save the changes
- Reboot the affected workstation, then open TaxWare.
