Caseware Time | How do I create a new practice?

How do I create a new practice?

  Answer:

 
  • Click on File
  • Click on Company Profile

  • Enter a File Name
  • Select a location for the data in the Save in field, ensure that the file is a shared path if it will be accessed by multiple users.
  • Select the SQL instance in the database server name field.
  • The BackOffice Suite requires the SQL Server Authentication Security option. 
  • Enter the Login ID and Password

  • Click on Test Connection, if the credentials are correct you will see the below screenshot.

  • The database is now being created.

  • The database has now been created. The Practice file can now be accessed. Upon accessing the file for the first time you will be prompted to login as the sup user, this user account is the default user that ships with the program.

  • Congratulations, your practice file has now been created and you can proceed by capturing the company particulars and all the features of Caseware Time.
