FAQ

What to do when your reporting dates show the year 1900 instead of the current reporting period?

Published:  26/03/2021
My reporting dates display as 1900 on the financial statements, how do I resolve this so that the current reporting date is displayed instead of 1900?

  Answer:

This occurs when the current accounting period is set to less than 12 months in the information store (document reference: 01.20) but the length of the period and the column headers are not set.

When preparing in-year reports and the current period has been set to less than 12 months; you must:
  1. Indicate the period description to be used
  2. Indicate what the period end dates are for the current and the comparative period
  3. If you do not want to use the description and date as column heading, you can specify custom column headings under Column headings if not 12 months, If not preparing an in-year report, ensure that current accounting period is set to 12 months.
