How do I correct the error I receive when making a backup on Caseware Time?
Answer:
Note: It is advised to have an IT administrator assist you with this error
When you get the above error you need check the following settings:
Firstly make sure that everyone is logged out of the Backoffice Products (either CaseWare Time, TaxWare and SecWare) because you will need to restart the SQL services at a later stage.
Start | Run | Sevices.msc | Services
Locate the insance of SQL that has the BackOffice products
Right click on it and go to Properties, it will come up with the below screen
Make sure that Local System account radio button is the one that is ticked like on the screen above, if its not ticked make sure to tick it.
Click Apply and OK
After all this is done it will require you to restart the SQL Services
Then you can log back on CaseWare Time as a Supervisor to make your back up
