What is the cause of my Probe document being locked?

  Answer:

The locked sign appears on the Probe document for several reasons:

  • The document may be opened by another user (Smart Sync Environment)
  • The document may be checked out or signed out by another user.
  • The Probe license may be expired and you need to update the license on your machine.
  • The document may have been marked as read-only after sign-off using the option available under Tools | Options | Roles
