Probe | What to do when your document 10.30 (Discussions with those charged with Governance) is blank

You would like to work on the work program “Discussions with charged with governance” but it does not populate any questions when you open it.

Please be advised that document 10.30 Discussions with those charged with Governance is a master template and should be used to create new documents.

To create a copy you can follow one of the two methods below:

Method 1

In Caseware on the document manager, navigate to the following section:

Engagement working papers| Planning and risk assessment| Pre-engagement planning| Double click to open 10.30 Discussions with those charged with Governance.

Once open you will see the screen below, then click on OK.

The add new document screen will pop up.
- Select the document number – could be any number
- Name the new document – could be any name
- Select the location of the new document from the drop-down.

Locate and open the newly added Document from the document manager.

Click on the drop-down and select one of the options to customize the questions accordingly.

Method 2

In Caseware on the document manager, navigate as follows:

Engagement working papers| Planning and risk assessment| Pre-engagement planning| Right-click and copy the document, once done you will need to right-click and paste.
