How do I resolve the IXML error I get when deleting taxpayers in TaxWare?

  Answer:

Follow the steps below:

  • When deleting taxpayers in TaxWare and you get the error above, you can delete it byt deleting the tax years first
  • You call up the taxpayer you want to delete on the Taxpayers screen
  • After selecting the taxpayer, you will see on your left hand side the tax years of the taxpayer
  • Right click on one of the tax years and click  Delete
  • After deleting all the tax years, its then you can go back to delete the actual taxpayer
