Taxware | How do I copy assessments from SARS?

  Answer:

Step 1:

• Navigate to Process | eFiling | Send/Receive | Correspondence

Step 2:  

• Fill in the SARS eFiling login credentials.
• Tick the Request SARS Correspondence From box.
• Fill in the correct date.

Step 3: 

• Navigate to Practice | SARS Correspondence | Received ITA34
• On this screen, You can see the PDF Status and the Data Status

• Under the PDF column, nothing appears
• PDFStatus : Not yet downloaded
• Data Status: Not Yet Copied

• Right click in the PDFStatus column and select Queue PDF for download

• In the PDFStatus column, the status will change from Not yet downloaded to Pending and under the PDF column, a circle will appear

Step 4:

• Navigate to Process | eFiling | Send/Receive | Correspondence again

Step 5:  

• Fill in the SARS eFiling login credentials
• Untick the Request SARS Correspondence From box

Step 6: 

• Navigate to Practice | SARS Correspondence | Received ITA34

• PDFStatus: Downloaded
• PDF: A green circle    

• Right click in the Data Status column and select Create Assessment 

• The Data Status will change to Copied to assessment
