How to convert your file to a different template?

Steps to follow:

1. Once a file has been created based on a specific template, there is no way to merely convert it. You will have to create a new file from existing data and base it on the desired template.
2. This method ensure that all your TB information is transferred into the new file. You will however have to redo any formatting changes which have already been done in the AFS.
3. To create a new file from client data, please follow the steps below:
4. Open Caseware Working Papers and select the second option to "Create new file from client data". Click Next.
5. On the next screen, select the option for "Existing Data" and click next.
6. You will then be prompted to select the existing file which you want to base your new file on. This will be the file which already has your TB information. Once you have selected the file, click next.
7. On the next screen, please: 
   1. Create a name for your new file;
   2. Browse for the location where you would like to save the file;
   3. Select the template to base the new file on.
8. Click Finish. You will then be required to log in, after which the file will be created.
9. Once the file has been created, you will be prompted to log in again.
10. The last step in the process would be to select what information from the AFS you would like to copy across to the new file. Please make the desired selections and click continue.
