When installing the latest version of Caseware Connector, it is very important to note the following. If you have upgraded any of your Microsoft Office products since the installation of the current Caseware Connector Version you will need to first perform a full uninstall of the current Caseware Connector version before performing the latest installation. The reason for this is that Microsoft Office Upgrades make changes to the installation information that is required by all Caseware Connector installations to automatically remove the previous installations successfully. If the previous version of Caseware Connector is not removed, then the latest installation of Caseware Connector will not function correctly.
If you have already installed your software using the cloud installer then you will still follow the same process but only need select Caseware Connector which would generate a 60MB installation file.
To complete the installation and registration of Caseware Connector you will require your firm’s Official Software Licence Statement to obtain the Connector Registration Code, this statement can be accessed via My Licences once logged into the Community, if you don’t have access to your firm’s licences, you may request this information from your firm’s Caseware Champion or Renewal contact.
