How to resolve "Tag not found" preventing export in iXBRL

The below screen will appear in regards to the CIPC mandatory information validation requirements.

  Instructions:

First select Cancel then navigate to the relevant line item either on your Statements or the Mandatory Infomation page.

There are two possibilities that will result in this type of notification, refer below to the resolution steps:
  • Either the mandatory Total to be tagged is not printing as this table only has one row.  In this case, we have built in a right click Always print total option.
  • The actual total is not tagged or tagged incorrectly.  In which case tag or edit the tag. Ensure this line item is tagged. Click here for guidance on how to tag.
