Financial Statements | How to resolve "Unable to retrieve tags" (iXBRL)

This message may appear when attempting to export the financials into XBRL format, after selecting the Validate & Export option: This message will appear due to an infrastructure issue.
 
Please Note: To resolve this issue you may require the assistance of your IT administrator, to perform the following steps:
  • Add Caseware to the safelist of antivirus.
  • Temporarily disable anti-virus to facilitate the export.
  • Ensure that all permissions have been assigned to the Caseware file:
    1. Provide permissions to the CaseWare folder by placing the cursor on folder | Right-click and select Properties
    2. Select the Security tab | click Edit | Permissions dialogue will open
    3. Select all usernames under the group or username section
    4. Select full control on the bottom of the screen 
    5. Click Apply Ok
