How to resolve XBRL Validation error  “does not specify a valid entity", when validating and exporting :

What is the cause of this error

These type of errors relate to the entity name that is either blank or has spaces in them that should not be there.
 

Prerequisites

Make a backup of your file | Go to the Engagement tab and select Engagement Properties

To resolve

In the Name/Address tab, ensure that the Operating Name has the correct company name as registered with the CIPC and that there are no double spaces between each word in the company name.
