Scenario:
The engagement for an attorney’s trust account is in the interim period of the old and new act (year ends after 31 October 2018 and before 30 January 2020). The auditor has the choice of using the old or the new format of the Annual Statement. How do I show one of these documents?
Instructions:
You can make an item show or hide despite the defined visibility settings. To show a document:
1. Select the ellipse in the top right corner and select the checkbox next to Hidden Items.
2. Once hidden items are shown, select the eye icon next to the document you want to force to show. In our scenario we choose to use the old format.
- A Visibility Settings dialog displays.
3. Select Show to show the document.
Note that the eye will change to red to indicate that the visibility settings have been overridden.
4. Select the ellipse again to unselect the checkbox next to Hidden Items.
