Who is the Renewal Contact?
When an account is created for the firm a Renewal Contact is assigned to that account. he Renewal Contact is the person at the firm who is responsible for managing the firm’s account and product licenses.
A CaseWare Africa Success Community user account is created for the Renewal Contact when they are sent their new licenses. They are sent an email with their login details and can access their new software from the community directly.
A renewal contact is given full access to the CaseWare Community with access to all their firms, training, support cases, software, licenses and account details. They are also given permission to manage the community access for any other users in their firm.Click here

What is “full access” and what are the CaseWare Community Permissions?
Description of the permissions from the top to bottom:
|Download Software ||My Software ||Access your firm's software via the download packager with information on how to install.|
|Manage Training||My Firm's Training ||Access all the training history for your firm to successfully manage who attends future training events.|
|View all cases||My Firm's cases ||Access all the case history for your firm to successfully manage who requires a training intervention.|
|Edit Company Details||My company profile and My team's information ||Edit the company details and contact details for your firm as well as manage community users and their access rights to the community.|
|View Financial Info||My Account||Access your firm's account statement and information you may need from CaseWare Africa such as the VAT and BBEEE certificate.|
|View License Details||My Licenses ||Access your license statement with the install codes for your software and your CaseWare user statement.|
How do I assign CaseWare Community Permissions?
- Select My Teams Information
- On the Contact Management page navigate to the contact’s name
- Click on Manage
- Tick permissions you would like the contact to have
- Then click on Change
